The LCBA encourages members to engage in legal-related volunteer opportunities. Here are a couple of different ways that LCBA members can give back.
The LCBA itself presents many volunteer opportunities. You can get more involved with the LCBA by forming, joining, or chairing one of our many subject-area specific committees. If you are interested in starting a new committee, please e-mail the LCBA Board.
Regular members are eligible for service on the LCBA Board. Learn more about the Board, what it does, and available positions. Any member may run for an open position on the Board. Elections are held at the June meeting annually.
Volunteer your legal skills to help disadvantaged members of our community by connecting with a pro bono program. The Lane County Legal Aid and Advocacy Center is a great place to get started.
